Calling One, Calling All! Come to the Water!

FCC Youth and the core Tasajera team are combining intergenerational forces to grow opportunities to be together in Christ with our brothers and sisters in Hawai’i and El Salvador. We will be hosting a fun-filled multi-generational Talent Show, Dinner and Silent Auction fundraiser on Friday, March 9 beginning at 6 p.m.

Our goal is to provide financial support for at least 8 FCC youth and 2 chaperones who hope to attend the UCC Western Regional Youth Event in Honolulu PLUS to raise money for the Tasajera Scholarship Fund.

Now is the time to ask yourself:

Do I have a talent I can share? Do I sing, act, tell jokes, juggle, breathe fire, play a nose harp or the church hand bells? Do I have a spoken word poem, SNL style skit or hip-hop dance to share? Am I in a band, improv troupe, stilt-walking or ukulele group? If you can answer yes, please contact Beth Pfeiffer, Entertainment Coordinator at 541-463-5054 or beth99pfeiffer@yahoo.com.

Do I have a donation I can share? Do I have an antique car in which I could take someone for a drive and dine around the country side? A beach or mountain house to offer for a weekend? A knack for preparing scrumptious meals I could prepare and share? Am I the best hedge trimmer this side of the Cascades? Do I have an item that could be a treasure to someone else? If you can answer yes, please contact Jen Maguire, Auction Coordinator at  409-791-1338 or maguire73@gmail.com.

Do I have hospitality skills? Do I love providing food for meals or serving others? If you have hands, heart and ideas for supporting the meal accompanying this fundraiser, please contact Trisha Chapman, Kitchen Coordinator  at 541-206-2473 or tlmchapman@hotmail.com.

Do I like to have fun? Do I enjoy laughter, inspiration and fellowship with my congregational community? Do I enjoy giving to worthy causes? We’re guessing the answer is YES! We look forward to seeing you for dinner, talent sharing and auction bidding at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall on Friday, March 9.
