Sunday School Teacher and Childcare Volunteers still needed!

As a congregation we are committed to the spiritual education of our children through our Sunday school program. Sunday school is a fun time to explore the stories and practices of our faith through play, crafts, games, storytelling and relationship building with our children. Curriculum, resources, and support are offered to teaching teams of 3. I hope you will consider serving in this fun and spiritually fulfilling way!

This year we ask Sunday School teachers to commit to teaching for one term:

September 10 – December 31

January 7 – April 1

April 8 – June 10

We will be starting our new childcare roster for our Sunday morning worship hour on Sunday, September 3. We offer a huge thank you to our volunteers from the past year, and we welcome our volunteers for the coming year. We are need of volunteers for 2017-2018 in our nursery and preschool, so please consider serving in this playful and joyous way.

Sunday morning childcare providers are asked to commit to one Sunday per month to provide care in either our nursery or our preschool during worship service. You will work with a team of other adults to play with, read to, and get to know the youngest children in our church family.

Please consider sharing your time and talents working with our children in Sunday school or childcare during 2017-2018. Interested? Please contact Gretchen by email or calling the church office at 541-345-8741.
