The retreat is held at The Shalom Prayer Center in Mt. Angel, Oregon.  It is a Friday evening through Sunday morning event.  The group will learn and practice lectio divina, centering prayer, yoga, and breath prayer.  There will be singing, worship, and a time for silence.  It is a time for simplicity and restoration.  Registration is open to anyone.

On February 26-28, 2010 you are invited to participate in a heavenly a retreat at Mt. Angel, Oregon.  It is called "Bread for the Journey" because you are invited to experience spiritual practices that feed your soul.  It is a restful weekend at the Shalom Prayer Center, with time for groups, yoga, walks in the garden, reading, and relaxing. Gabriel Chavez will present the Compass of Grace, a method of living consciously in the grace of God.  Register early as this will be open to other conference churches and spots are limited.  Contact Pastor Janet.

Once a year, a Spirituality Retreat is offered for those wanting some time and space for spiritual practice.
