“God of promise, God of possibilities, God of perseverance, help us to follow you boldly into the future you prepare for us, to go where you lead us, and to undertake the tasks you give to us. Let us know that you are always with us…”“ (excerpt from Moravian Daily Prayer).

The New Year ahead in 2018 is going to be exciting! We will continue to seek out opportunities for service and leadership, spiritual renewal and transformative experience – all the while growing closer in community, so that we might truly know the meaning of Emmanuel, “God With Us.”

Grace and Peace,

Mark Lindberg, Director of Youth and Family Ministries, markl@fcceugene.org

Here are some highlights of what is coming up for Youth Groups in 2018:

February 16-18 – High School Youth Coast Retreat

Calling all youth grades 9-12! Please sign up by February 9 for our retreat on the Oregon Coast in Waldport during President’s Day Weekend, February 16 – 18. We will meet and leave from church on Friday, February 16 at 6:30 p.m. Please eat dinner before coming to church. We will  return to FCC on Sunday afternoon, with an approximate return time of 1:00 p.m. You will still have all of Sunday evening and all day on Monday to recover, since it is President’s Day!

Cost per person for the entire weekend is $50 and is all-inclusive of food, lodging and transportation. Please make checks payable to “FCC” and submit to Mark or to the church office by February 9. Space is limited, so please contact Mark Lindberg today in order to reserve your spot: markl@fcceugene.org.
