FCC Food Pantry

photo of food pantry shelvesSo that no one in our church family goes without food.

Did you know there are more than a few members of our church family who run out of money for food before the end of the month? To continue to help fill this need, I have volunteered to maintain a supply of food for the church pantry.

The FCC Food Pantry is confidential and open to anyone in our church family who needs it.  You do not have to apply or be receiving food stamps etc. to use the pantry.  If you have a need, the food pantry is for you. The pantry is located down stairs on a shelving unit behind the children’s area and is open whenever the church is open. Paper shopping bags are provided. If you have a need for a certain food product, let us know and we will add it to the pantry.

For those who would like to donate food to the pantry, there is a basket upstairs and one downstairs marked “FCC Food Pantry” to put the food in.  You may also make a monetary donation and we will do the shopping for you.  Please indicate your donation is for the FCC Food Pantry.

All foods must be non-perishable.  We are in need of healthy, high nutrition, high protein foods such as:

  • Canned meat, beans, stew, chili, soups, peanut butter
  • Low sugar fruit, dried fruit, jams, jellies, apple sauce
  • Canned vegetables, boxed macaroni & cheese, pasta, rice, cereal, oatmeal
  • Corn meal, cooking oil/olive oil, canned tomato products, juices, tortillas, soup starter, flour, white and brown sugar.

Thank you for your help with this important food ministry.  Our church family appreciates it!
